Velocity Championship Action was established in October 2011. VCA was originally known as IWA (Innovative Wrestling Action), but later was changed to VCA due to copyright issues. The founding father of the original IWA, Charlie Parks, passed away in March 2011 leaving the company in what many would call dismay. After months of absence from the scene, another company that originated from IWA was born, but only with a new owner and entire new name. Since then VCA has continued to bring the best family oriented action in the Mid-South with the help of stars like TNA Impact Wrestling’s Dj Zema Ion, TNA Impact Wrestling’s Davey Richards, the legendary Tony Kozina, former WWE Superstar Big Daddy V Mabel, and former WWE Superstar Carlito. VCA is looking to bring even more action to the Mid-South this year.
