ALEX-
“Hello ladies and gentlemen, it’s Alex Shirley once again with another Post-MEGAFEST interview. Today we are being joined by an up-and-coming star, which a lot of people don’t know much about so today we are going to get to know him better. Thanks for joining us, Chris Evans.”
CHRIS-
“No problem bro. It’s great to be here.”
ALEX-
“So a lot of people have started to ask about you and you are quickly becoming one of the most talked about stars in Velocity Championship Action; when did decide wrestling was your calling?”
CHRIS-
“Well when the opportunity presented itself I decided to buckle down and run with it. It was a rough road actually making it into the ring. But I’m glad to be here finally. It’s something I’ve always dreamt of doing, so now I’m doing it!”
ALEX-
“I must ask, how long have you been a fan of professional wrestling?”
CHRIS-
“I’ve been a fan since I was very little. I can remember wrestling around in the living room while it was actually on T.V. I’ve only been in the ring a short while but I love doing it.”
ALEX-
“Looking at it as a fan of the business, what is one of your all-time favorite matches?”
CHRIS-
“To be honest, I don’t think I’ve ever had a specific match that I could really call my favorite. I like a lot of different matches and how each one has its own unique thing going. All of them are special so it would be kind of unfair to specify a ‘favorite’ without giving credit to all the great matches I enjoy. Haha.”
ALEX-
“Everyone has that one person growing up that they wanted to be like; in wrestling who has influenced you to be what you are today?”
CHRIS-
“Oh man that’s a tough one because there are so many. First, I have to give it to The Rock because he was my childhood favorite. Guys like him, Chris Jericho, and even Paul Heyman, even though Heyman isn’t a wrestler, are so entertaining no matter what they do. Whenever they were on the microphone it was electric. And the in ring technique, of guys like Triple H, Booker T, Undertaker, and Austin; those guys could give out and take the best beatings and never stay down. You also have to love you in ring technicians such as the Harts, Malenko, and Benoit, who is one of my personal favorites in the technical department.”
ALEX-
“Those are all some great names and have had a huge impact on what our business is today. But everyone has a story outside of what they do. What are your interests outside the squared circle?”
CHRIS-
“Outside of wrestling, I enjoy producing music. I try and keep my hands in a bunch of different things as I am multi-talented. I’m a huge car enthusiast so I enjoy spending time cruising around and hanging out with my car guys as we all work on our own cars and upgrade them. I love hitting the gym and studying my crafts.”
ALEX-
“Those are some pretty driven traits. It seems you have a very active lifestyle when it comes to life and goals. Speaking of goals, what are some of yours in wrestling?”
CHRIS-
“Well of course it’s every wrestler’s dream to make it to the WWE. The major thing I am concerned with is being the best in ring competitor I can be and learn the ropes, no pun intended. Haha. I just have a desire to be the best. I never want to leave a match thinking I didn’t give my all. Nor do I want to hear from the guys and gals in the back or the Board of Director’s that I’m not pulling my own weight. I tend to be a perfectionist and will work hard to make something perfect no matter how long it takes.”
ALEX-
