VCA tag titles and heavyweight title on the line in the same match at Verdict!

This Friday night the VCA tag team champions, Brooks and Anthony Payne, will defend their championship titles against Chris Evans and the VCA heavyweight champion, Kaptain Justice. Of course some would say there’s nothing unique about this match, but let’s dig a little further.

Stacking the odds more, Terra Rae announced that Kaptain Justice’s heavyweight championship will also be on the line at Verdict! What the heck? If Justice or Evans is pinned, the heavyweight championship will automatically go to Payne. That’s right, if Brooks or Payne get a pinfall over Evans or Justice, Payne will become the heavyweight champion making him the first ever double champion in the company. Vice versa, if Justice and Evans wins, Justice will become the first ever double champion in the company, not to mention Evans will pick up his first title. This will be a historic night because a double champion will be crowned.

Last night at VCA’s weekly Friday night show, Evans was very close to defeating Brooks in singles action after connecting with his finisher, O.Y.B., but Payne would enter causing the match to result in disqualification. Brooks and Payne would assault Evans kicking and stomping and even putting Evans in the Sharpshooter. Luckily, Justice ran out to make the save causing both Brooks and Payne to scatter.
